Raining Cats & Dogs Lace Scarf #C901

Surrounded by raindrops, floppy-eared dogs alternate with long-tailed cats on a reversible garter stitch lace scarf designed to honor shelter and rescue workers for all that they do for these animals.

This lace is worked over 64 rows, but repeated elements make it easy to develop a rhythm. Directions include wide and narrow versions, as well as single species designs. An option also is given for a picot edging at the ends. Designed for fingering weight yarns, it also looks great in lace and Shetland/sport/DK weights.

Whether cats or dogs or both reign over your life, please support your local shelter and spay or neuter your pets. Each of our efforts is important to stop the deluge of unwanted animals that rain down on shelters even during the best of times.

Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
