Alda Lace Shawl #S1207
Non-traditional shaping creates this easy-to-wear shawl that flatters a variety of figures. My knitting buddy Pat Brunner suggested the circular shape, and I knit my first version for someone confined to a wheelchair.
This shawl begins with a narrow garter stitch neckband and ends with a trellis edging. It can be knit in a variety of yarns, and the size is easily customized since the edging can be started after any 12-row repeat.
Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
